Annie Hawe
Annie performs as a solo artist singing, playing guitar as well as percussion instruments. Performances are very interactive with an emphasis on a large assortment of percussion instruments for the children to play, finger puppets, singing & dancing. Annie includes original songs, traditional favorites and other children's music to insure a rich variety. Her goal is a fun, musical experiences for everyone involved!
Program Description 1 - In House Summer Camp Music Program
- Age appropriate: 2 - 12 years old.
- Program duration: 1 hour
- Group sizes per show: 2 year olds - up to 20. 3 to 5 year olds - up to 25. 6 and older - up to 30.
- Percussion instruments include: 50 shakey eggs, 60 chickitas, 30 maracas, 40 hand drums, a variety of over 40 cymbals and tambourines, a variety of over 40 world instruments including guiros, shekeres, cabasas, kokorikos, goat hoof rattles, togo & ute rattles, shakers and more.
- Bit by bit throughout the program, children will be taught what the different percussion instruments are and how to play them. They will then play the instruments accompanied by current music appropriate for young people.
- For the last portion of the program the children will choose from all the instruments, changing and experimenting at their leisure, and play along with current favorite songs.
Rates
- $100 per 1 hour show with a minimum of 2 shows.
- $500 for the entire day which includes 6 shows. (This can include a nap-time break)
Program Description 2 - Year Round Music Program
- Age appropriate: 2 - 6 years old.
- Programs were designed with the Academic Content Standards in mind.
- Children will learn & sing songs with varied styles, rhythms, tempos & dynamics.
- They will participate in echo songs, call & response songs, as well as standard verse & refrain songs.
- Children will use finger puppets & percussion instruments during some songs.
- The children will sing songs that encourage movement, dramatization & the use of their imagination.
- Children will learn about the use of rhyming words in songs.
- They will discover how some songs tell stories & take you on adventures.
- Program themes include: seasons of the year, Dr. Seuss, Presidents Day, birds, dinosaurs, bugs, animals, counting, ABC's, humor, having fun & much, much more.
Note: Annie will create a program based around a theme you are working on.
